This turtleneck is poor quality. The material is very thin. Put the top on and it immediately lost shape. Only wore one time. The sleeves stretched out during the day and well as the neckline.

It looked sloppy, stretched, and cheap. J Crew Mercantile is the cheapest worst brand I have ever purchased. So cheaply made I am not even able to donate to Goodwill.

This is a soft, comfortable turtleneck that is great for layering under sweaters. The neck is just right – can stand up or be folded down and is not too tight.

Its sort of thin but that’s what I wanted and its just about perfect in my opinion. Would recommend sizing down.

I ordered a size small and it felt comfortable when I put it on- not too tight and just loose enough. Ive had it on for an hour this morning and the sleeves are gaping, stretched out, baggy.

Same on the sides of the shirt. One person found this helpful. This turtle neck wears well by itself or comfortable as one of many layers given very cold weather.

Comfortable as casual wear or dressy with a pendant of choice.

I ordered the ivory, and you certainly could not wear it alone. It is good for layering only.

Very disappointed. I wanted to order other colors, but after seeing the poor quality, I won’t. I love this turtleneck the fabric is just the right thickness to be worn under a sweater, and it can be worn alone as well.

I bought three of these, unfortunately the fabric is very thin and one of them I bought has a tiny hole at the neck already.

I wore it three total, including twice since I’ve seen the tear, because I love them so much. It appears to be a tear or a cut that I didn’t see before that has grown.

I wore it under my Amazon basics packable puffer vest in the photo above. I love these turtlenecks! They’re a bit thinner than I thought they would be, but it actually works out perfectly for layering under sweaters or jackets.
